DANYELLE JOAQUIN

Danyelle is a native Vermonter that relocated to Killington in 1996, where she has since been raising her family and enjoying the community of our mountain town. In 2016, she did her 200 YTT in Koh Samui, Thailand at Vikasa Yoga. Her training was in general Hatha Yoga, focusing on the power of breath to harness your energy and balance your physical, mental and emotional bodies. When Danyelle returned home, she began teaching Power Flow and Yin classes at the Killington Bootcamp Studio. In 2017 she decided to travel to Barcelona, Spain and continue her education with the YogaBody Studio and train in Trapeze Yoga. She added this class into her yoga offerings and has found it to be a great compliment to different styles of fitness training.

CRISTY MURPHY

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Cristy Murphy’s yoga journey began when she was a classroom teacher. Her teaching partner introduced yoga to Cristy as a way to find stillness and calmness in her life. Since then, the practice of yoga has evolved for Cristy, but has always remained a place to feel calm and present.

Cristy has been teaching yoga for five years. She is certified to teach children’s yoga and yoga for adults. She began teaching yoga to children and created her own small business, Kids Together Yoga. She has taught in many schools and childcare centers throughout Vermont.

Cristy was asked to teach adult classes and that is when her business evolved into All Together Yoga. Cristy has taught yoga at the Pico Sports and Fitness Center, The Mountain Top Inn, Killington Yoga and she travels to teach yoga to different businesses to provide yoga for staff.

Cristy’s teaching style is alignment-based, focusing on connecting breath with movement, each class is theme-based, has a centering and grounding beginning and a time for relaxation.

Cristy loves to share the many benefits of yoga with people of all ages. She is able to teach yoga for babies and is also able to connect with folks preferring the support of a chair while they practice.

Aside from her love for yoga, Cristy enjoys skiing, hiking, playing with her two boys and spending time with her family up north where she grew up. She looks forward to sharing yoga at the Killington Boot Camp and Wellness Center.

Connor Mcgrath

lead hiking guide

Connor was born and raised right here in Killington at the Inn at Long Trail (his family's business). The Inn at Long Trail is famous as a stop for hikers on the Appalachain Trail and sits at the base of one of the most popular hiking trails in the region: Deer Leap. Connor never took for granted that his backyard was a popular hiking trail and was often exploring the woods.  With Pico mountain as his front yard he also grew up skiing and racing during the winter. An avid outdoorsman and athlete, he used these skills to work on the mountain as a rescue skier and is an EMT  as well as being an integral  part of the Killington Search and Rescue team. Connor has spent many summers sharing his love for this region and safely guiding hikes for visitors.   In his words:  "Being out in nature is where I'm meant to be, and I love everything it has to offer."
